On 19-th of May 2015 a breakthrough on tunnel “T1 - Blatino”, part of the Highway “Struma” project, LOT 2, section “Dupnitsa - Blagoevgrad”. The tunnel has a length of 355 m and a cross section of 91.96 m2, and is constructed after the New Austrian Tunneling Method /NATM/.
The specialists of “Euro Alliance Tunnels” JSC once again managed to deal with the exceptionally complex geological situation, and a special injection program for hardening of the earth mass was executed.
On the same LOT “Euro Alliance Tunnels” JSC constructed also tunnel “T2 - Kocherinovo”, which consists of two tubes with length of the right tube of 355 meters, length of the left tube of 341 meters, and a cross section of 98.70 m2.
