The gallery belongs to Scheibengipfel tunnel. The tunnel is part of a bypass and will reduce the traffic congestion of the city of Reutlingen after its construction significantly.
The emergency gallery is 1940 m long with a cross section 20 m², the distance to the main tunnel is 21 m. Seven cross cuts will connect the gallery with the main tube. Adval is using the New Austrian Tunneling Method.
