Euro Alliance Tunnels participated in the conference “Strategic Infrastructure and Investments, Bulgaria in connected Europe” which took place at Sofia Event Center, Sofia on 29 March 2016. This year’s edition of the forum brought together representatives of the public sector, institutions and leading companies in the sector.
Under the initiative, Eng. Ivaylo Dekov presented Euro Alliance Project: ”Construction of Road Tunnels on Struma Highway at the village of Blatino and the town of Kocherinovo” which was completed by the company in 2015.
The Project is aimed at extension of Struma Highway, part of Corridor 4 in the section Sofia – Kulata – Thessaloniki. 37,5 kilometres of new road section were constructed under the Project in LOT 2, Section Dupnitsa – Blagoevgrad (from km 322+000 to km 359+483.52). The Project Employer is Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) and road sections with the relevant road intersections, large facilities, connections, lay bays, service infrastructure and two road tunnels were designed and constructed.
